Step inside a warm, candlelit embrace for an evening of movement, sound & song and explore that heart-healing power of Kirtan. Kirtan brings together the powerful vibrations of live music from the harmonium and the truly transcendent beat of the drums with simple chanting and joyful song. You don't have to be able to sing, you can always just listen and let these ancient Sanskrit chants wash over you. We'll begin with a simple movement flow, before settling into the wonders of sound and kirtan followed by a nourishing extended savasana. The power of kirtan can only be understood through experience.

Bluebell Pop Up at Śrīvana is a one off spring evening practice held in the quiet of our woodland studio in the New Forest, at the height of bluebell season. The evening weaves together slow, sensory yoga, meditation and breath, inviting you to attune to the subtle shifts of the season and the living landscape around you. Inspired by the symbolism and folklore of bluebells, often known as fairy flowers and associated with enchantment, reverence and quiet magic, the practice is soft, spacious and immersive. As the light begins to fade, there will be time to step outside and simply be amongst the bluebells, allowing the senses to open and the mind to settle in the presence of the forest at dusk. With just 10 spaces available, the experience remains intimate and unhurried. This is a gentle pause within spring, a moment to reconnect with nature, imagination and a quieter way of being.

Dawn Chorus at Śrīvana is a one-off early morning gathering in our woodland studio in the New Forest, timed to meet the peak of birdsong season. Held on International Dawn Chorus Day, this is a celebration of the simple joy of listening to the birds. Birdsong peaks 30 mins before and after sunrise, so we'll begin in silence at 5:00am in the warmth of the studio with a gentle movement practice to bring deeper connection with the natural world before a seated meditation as the birdsong gradually builds. As the sun begins to rise, you’re invited to step outside and wander through the ancient woodland listening to the birds sing from the old oak trees. We'll return to the studio for a gentle sequence of devotional sun salutations, honouring a new day. We'll finish with tea, coffee and fresh pastries enjoyed outside in the forest.

You will be guided into fully supported restorative postures using bolsters, blankets and blocks so there is no muscular effort required. The body can soften completely. Muscles release. The breath slows. The nervous system begins to downregulate. Guided meditation, subtle sound healing and hypnosleep are woven throughout. We work progressively through different brainwave states, gently shifting from alert awareness towards profound rest, allowing the system to settle at a deep level. This is a deliberate slowing. A steady unwinding at the end of the week. You will leave feeling nourished, recalibrated and deeply restored.
